Young Professionals in Transportation – Seattle (YPT Seattle) is a non-profit initiative to connect transportation professionals in the Greater Seattle area, with an emphasis on bringing people together for development, fellowship, and networking. Initially started in DC, YPT has grown into an international organization that supports the next generation of transportation professionals through monthly recurring events varying from leadership seminars, networking happy hours, field site visits, and sponsored events.
Members of the YPT Seattle have diverse professional backgrounds including architecture, engineering, construction, urban planning, government policy, public outreach, energy infrastructure, freight (trucking/maritime/rail), and much more!​​
